Middle School Cross Country

This year the Browning School Middle School Cross Country team has successfully received a first place award amongst their competitors. According to the Browning records, this is the first time in TWENTY years that the Middle School Cross Country team has accomplished this. The Monthly Panther interviewed Brandon Chao, the team captain, and Mr. Farmer, the coach of this superb team.

According to Brandon Chao, he feels that this was a result of  their high performance in running and the support of the Browning community. Brandon also feels that they could not improve in any way because they had shown their capabilities by getting first place. He also claims that without Mr. Farmer was the best coach we could ever have had. “His skills as a runner made the team successful” (Brandon Chao). We could not have done a better job this season. We got first place as a result of our performance.

Mr. Farmer  believes that everyone put in their part to get this first place award. He feels that the team was friendly, supportive, inclusive, and had good social skills with each other. Mr. Farmer alleges  that they struggled a bit with organization and communication with other teams that they were racing. He also claims that teamwork got them to first place and that everyone wanted each other to do well. Mr. Farmer thinks that this first place spot shows what the Browning Middle School Cross Country team is capable of. Mr. Farmer is going to be the Coach of the Middle School Cross Country team next year and cannot wait for the next season.

Congratulations to the Middle School Cross Country Team!
